    Christmas has come to Thrushstone Park. The house is decorated, the tree has been trimmed, and guests fill the empty rooms with holiday cheer.

    February 1901 -The Marquess of Ribble and his family return home after attending the state funeral of Queen Victoria at Windsor Castle.

    Returning home to find out tragedy has struck again as news of the death of Lady Ribble after an illness takes the family by storm.
